Outside my window…soft snowflakes are slowly sifting down from Emily’s leaden sieve.
I am thinking…I ought to be doing something else.
I am thankful for…God keeping me safe when I lightly tapped the brakes at 6:30 this morning for a stoplight and it was enough to send my car into a slow-motion sliiiiide and 120 degree rotation almost into the intersection.
From the kitchen…luscious leftovers. (or not)
I am wearing…one of my work-shirts and some jammie pants and thick socks.
I am remembering…how it used to be to wear snowpants out for recess, and how your vision became dim and green and blotchy after coming in from the snow-bright outdoors.
I am going…to take a nap, probably, and pray.
I am reading…Revolution in World Missions by K. P. Yohannan
Words I am pondering … “No one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” John 3:5
I am praying…wisdom in a few specific conflicts, words, and a more loving heart.
I am hoping…things will become clearer.
I am hearing…laundry tumbling in the dryer and the hum of the refrigerator.
One of my favorite things…is to have fresh black plums in a stash on top of the refrigerator. I’ve been craving them lately.
A few plans for the rest of the week: I shall need to register my car…I’m not sure about where to, though, since I’m in a different county from the last time I had to register a car. I hope I don’t have to go to Greeley! And I hope my CT tax information comes so I can get ‘er done.
